Question 1

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

Accepted Answer

No. AHC brings its own supplies, cloths, vacuums, and equipment to every single visit — residential and commercial. Nothing is billed as an extra, and nothing comes out of your cupboard. If you'd prefer we use a specific product on a particular surface, just leave it out and tell us.

Question 2

How much does a cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Every job is quoted individually and in writing, because square footage, number of bathrooms, condition, and frequency all change the work involved. Estimates are free and there is no obligation — you approve a flat price before we start, so there are no hourly meters or surprise line items.

Question 3

Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every cleaner is insured and background-checked before working on a job, and your property is assigned a consistent crew rather than a rotating roster. For banks, clinics, and schools we also complete whatever access, badging, or escort requirements the facility has.

Question 4

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Crystal Lake and serve homes and businesses within roughly 30 miles, including many nearby towns. If you're just outside that, ask anyway; we can often make it work.

Question 5

Do I have to be home during the cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Most of our recurring residential clients give us a key, a code, or a lockbox and come home to a finished house. Commercial clients are usually cleaned after hours. Whatever access arrangement you're comfortable with, we'll work to it.

Question 6

What's the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

Accepted Answer

A standard clean covers the surfaces you use daily — kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and dusting. A deep clean adds the accumulation routine visits don't reach: inside appliances, grout, vents, ceiling fans, baseboards, and behind furniture. Most homes start with one deep clean and then hold that standard with recurring visits.

Question 7

How often should I schedule a recurring clean?

Accepted Answer

Bi-weekly suits most households. Weekly makes sense with young children, pets, or someone home all day. Monthly works for smaller or lightly used homes. You're not locked in — plenty of clients switch frequency seasonally, and we adjust with a phone call.

Question 8

Do you offer any discounts?

Accepted Answer

Refer a friend, neighbor, or business and you both save 10% on your next clean — there is no limit on how many times you can use it. Returning customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule receive our best standing rate — the more often we clean, the more you save.

Question 9

Do you speak Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our team works in both English and Spanish. Walkthroughs, scheduling, and special requests can be handled in either language. Hablamos español.

Question 10

What are your business hours?

Accepted Answer

We're available Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Chicago time). Sunday: Closed. Commercial cleaning is regularly scheduled outside those hours — evenings, overnight, and weekends — so we never disrupt your business day.
